A movie already garnering Oscar buzz, "Rabbit Hole" seems a departure for John Cameron Mitchell, he of the cult classic "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and the starkly sexual "Shortbus."
The Nicole Kidman/Aaron Eckhart drama, adapted from David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Mitchell directs a movie about grief (the stars play a couple mourning the loss of their young son) with, reportedly, interesting turns of dark humor.
Here's the trailer. It looks powerful, to say the least.
